LSCM 1002 - Inventory Management 

This course will examine inventory goals and control techniques, such as forecasting, demand management, lot-size choices, classification, and budgeting. It will show the interface between inventory and the other areas of logistics, the trade-offs that occur between them, and examine the importance of information systems in managing inventory.

	Define the scope and function of inventory control
	Summarize the reasons for maintaining inventories
	Explain the cost/benefit/service associated with the objectives of inventory controls
	Demonstrate appropriate approaches to solving inventory control problems
