LSCM 1003 - Transportation 

This course provides an overview of the role of transportation and its impact on domestic and international economies. Specific areas covered are the different modes and their selection, types of service, costs and pricing, rates, government regulations, documentation and insurance, and financial aspects of carrier operation. The relationship between transportation and the other areas of logistics will be examined as well as the use of information technology.
